At the Biggest Little Speed School, my goal is to create a fun, safe, and efficient training environment for kids and adults. Our training methods are scientifically proven to increase strength, speed, quickness, explosiveness, flexibility, confidence, and prevent future injuries. We value hard work, coachability, accountability, independence, and a desire to want to improve. While my number one goal is to help each person see physical improvements, I also value the psychological aspect of training. I want to make an impact on each individual in a positive way that increases their confidence and self-worth.

About Jesse Felker

From an early age, I loved anything and everything sport-related. In my youth, I played many sports including but not limited to, gymnastics, taekwondo, skiing, volleyball, basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, flag football, and boxing. In high school, I played 4 sports, Basketball, Softball, Flag Football, and Soccer.

Along with my love for sports, I also had a love for kids. From the age of 5, I babysat regularly, nannied, worked in my church daycare, worked at a private preschool, and lastly, I substitute taught kindergarten. These jobs gave me the skill set and experience of being able to work with many different types of kids.

Following high school, I went to Feather River College to pursue college Basketball and Softball. It was there that I had my first taste of personal training. I worked for the athletic department as a student trainer with all sports until I graduated. Following FRC I went to the University of Nevada where I continued my student Training and got the opportunity to work for the Football Team for my remaining 2 years. I graduated with a Community Health Sciences Major and shortly after obtained a personal training certification.

Combined with my love of kids, it only seemed fit that as a trainer, I work with youth athletes. At the time, few places in Reno were specific to youth performance training so I made it my goal to become just that. My first job was at a large private gym in South Reno. While there I was able to land a job working in the Reno Speed School. After nearly 10 years there, I decided it was time to branch out on my own. I began my first official gym right out of my home and turned my 3-car garage into a gym using both indoor and outdoor space for training. It was small, but it was sufficient.

In addition to Personal Training, I also Coach High School football and Play Women's Professional Football.

Since pulling out of the mainstream gyms and starting my own business back in 2020, my business as well as my own personal skill set has continued to grow. I am now in the exciting process of revamping my business and moving into a bigger more permanent facility.
